Straight backs are best! The Fjällräven Kånken was created back in 1978 to help prevent back problems among Swedish schoolchildren, and soon became a common sight at preschools and elementary schools across the country. Today, 40 years later, Kånken has straightened millions of backs all over the world and become one of Fjällräven’s most beloved products.
This classic backpack is just as useful for commuting to and from school or work as it is for day trips and travel. It’s made of durable, lightweight Vinylon F fabric that resists dirt and moisture. The spacious main compartment has a wide zippered opening that makes it easy to pack and unpack items. There are two flat side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front, perfect for small items you want close at hand. An included foam seat pad is stored in the inner back pocket, where it prevents the contents of the backpack from pressing against your back—and is always on hand for a quick rest, wherever you are. The carrying system is simple yet functional, featuring a top handle and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is made of reflective material.
