Palle is made of solid birch and features wooden legs that are screwed directly into the seat, making the stool very stable and versatile no matter where you place it in your home. Stolab is a wonderful brand, with its long design tradition, high quality, and production in Sweden. We really love their products and have chosen to work with the Palle stool for this collection.

In the Palle stool, we recognize Yngve Ekström’s design language from the Arka lounge chair and the Pinnockio stick chair. Yngve also designed this stool in the 1950s for Stolab. A time when function was often combined with stylish forms.

About the manufacturer

Historien om stolfabriken börjar i Småland 1907. På exakt samma plats där Stolab har sin tillverkning och övrig verksamhet än idag. 1942 började samarbetet med Carl Malmsten där den välkända Pinnstolen Lilla Åland började att tillverkas. 1955 började ett annan samarbete, fast med formgivaren Yngve Ekström där Stolab tillsammans med Yngve skapade klassikerna som Arka, Pinnockio & Palle. Alla Stolabs möbler är svensktillverkade.
