Nickel-free. Edblad’s stainless steel jewelry should be sorted as scrap metal or bulky waste at the recycling center along with other metal items that are not packaging, such as tea lights, camp lanterns, frying pans, cutlery, etc.
For jewelry containing additional materials such as synthetic stones & beads, natural pearls, glass, or bracelets containing leather, these should be sorted into the category that makes up the majority of the jewelry.
Plated jewelry is always sorted as scrap metal since the proportion of steel is greater.
In the subsequent process, additional materials are separated so that the steel content can be recycled through smelting to produce new steel, while the remaining parts are recycled according to their respective materials.
Steel is 100% recyclable, meaning it can be remelted multiple times to produce new steel of the same quality.
