Ella the Elephant from Spring Copenhagen is the perfect gift for christenings, birthdays, graduations, and other celebrations. Or why not as a housewarming gift? The elephant is a very special animal—its appearance is unlike anything else you’ll find in the animal kingdom. Particularly distinctive is the trunk, which the elephant uses to gather food and spray water. In a famous story by Rudyard Kipling, the baby elephant gets its trunk by the “gray-green, murky Limpopo River.” There, out of curiosity, it gets too close to the crocodile, which bites the baby elephant’s nose. And when the baby elephant finally breaks free, its trunk has grown to an eye-catching length. We can assure you that this is not how Chresten Sommer gave his baby elephant its trunk, but he has nonetheless created a figure that looks exactly like a real elephant. Do you have room for two elephants? Given their modest size, we dare to claim that you can easily make room for both of Chresten Sommer’s elephants. In addition to this little Ella, he has also created a large elephant, Ollie, and together the two figures make a cute little family. Both are handmade and hand-assembled figures.
