Description
Star is cast and sculpted in hot glass at Glasbolaget in Bro. The sculpture was created in connection with the Stockholm Film Festival and the collaboration to design an award for the Nikon Short Film Award with Designtorget and Erika Kristofersson Bredberg. The award, just like the sculpture, is inspired by the 1990s TV show Småstjärnorna, outer space, and Hollywood decadence.
A star is a shining celestial body that glows brightest in the sky. A star can be a successful person, but also a state of mind. My Star is not about achievement but acts as a power amulet. A mini-award for yourself or another Star in your life.
